AbstractThis article analyses the spatial spillover effect's principle and mechanism which the financial agglomeration is to the industrial production efficiency from the financial aggregation mechanism, and put forward the hypothesis that the spatial spillover effect is decrement with geographical distance decreasing. On the basis of this, with geographic distance as the spatial weight matrix, this article analyses the spatial spillover effect of financial agglomeration on industrial productivity using the 230 city data and spatial econometric model, and empirically tests the hypothesis that the spatial spillover effect is decrement with geographical distance decreasing.with geographical distance decreasing. The empirical results show that, the spatial spillover effect of financial spatial agglomeration on industrial production efficiency is more obvious, and the level of informatization can enhance industry efficiency indirectly with gathering the financial services industry. The Yangtze River Delta city data also confirmes the above conclusion. The spatial spillover effect is in a certain area bordary, the dense area is within 300 kilometers, and the spatial spillover effect is obvious attenuation after more than 500 kilometers. Provincial boundaries has certain inhibition on spatial spillover.
