AbstractTaking HU Line as a starting point, we observe and sum-up the serious energy resources and environmental intensity of pressure and challenges in China, specially identified as “Half-part-under-total Intensity of Pressure Type”, with the triple overlapped:(1) unique intensity of pressure of energy and environment on Southeast part aside the HU Line on which the population is 94.2% of the total while the land area is only 42.9%, plus (2) The heavy intensity of pressure of energy and environment along with the intensive high speed economic growth in taking-off stage in recent decades, then plus (3) the heavy intensity of pressure of energy and environment coming from the “coal-majority” energy structure of the natural endowment; these are closely related to the ecocrisis factors taking smog as representation. Then we emphasize the special targeted aspects when optimizing China’s energy-resource and environment strategy, with the natural relationship to the supply management. Finally, we discuss the rational supply management about the logical path, emphases and the theoretical guiding.
